McKay Vassaur Custom Builders will conduct an interview with the prospective Client. The goal of the interview is to gauge and identify the Client's overall expectations, requirements, and preferences. MVCB will then go to work preparing a `good faith` Preliminary Estimate based on the interview details and any other documentation provided by the client (plans, renderings, product specifications, material selections, etc.).

1. PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE PHASE:

2. DEVELOPMENTAL PHASE:

During this Phase the Client & MVCB work together to fine-tune the Preliminary Estimate drafted in Phase 1. Formal construction plans are drawn and a Base Specification Sheet is developed. In addition, the Client meets with MVCB's vendor partners to make product selections (flooring, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, appliances, etc.). Once the information is compiled and corresponding costs are determined, the following documents are finalized: A.) Construction Plan; B.) `Base Specification Sheet` detailing specific materials and applications to be utilized during the construction process; C.) `Cost-To-Build Spreadsheet` outlining the major cost centers and the individual costs and job-scope descriptions associated with each cost-center; and D.) Construction Contract with the Client's finalized home-build total cost and terms.
